PAUL ICE (BA, MA)
ELDER & EXECUTIVE / Worship Pastor
Originally from the Midwest, in 2010, Paul and Jill Ice moved to Colorado to help start Valley Community Church. Paul has always been passionate about the local church and seeing people know Jesus. Paul leads Valley's worship team and serves as Executive Pastor.
In addition to over 20 years experience in ministry, his background includes experience in business, most recently as vice president of business development for a local Colorado company. Paul finds delight serving the local community from refereeing basketball to serving on local education committees.
The greatest joy in Paul’s life is his wife, Jill, and their three children. Jill holds a Master of Music degree in piano performance and piano pedagogy and is the owner of a piano studio in Erie, CO. The Ice family loves Colorado living. If they aren’t playing music or at a concert, you will probably find them enjoying the beauty of Colorado.

MATT OLSON (BA, MA, DMIN)
ELDER & LEAD PASTOR FOR PREACHING AND TEACHING
Matt has been teaching, preaching, and investing in the lives of others for over forty years. Before coming to Valley in November of 2013, he served as a pioneer church planter, pastor of a growing and multiplying church, and as a university president. Matt has served on the boards of numerous organizations - colleges, seminaries, Christian camps, and missions agencies. He has traveled extensively throughout the world, speaking, training, and developing leaders. Matt has also become a pastor to pastors and continues to coach and serve as Coaching Champion for Denver’s Send Network of the North American Mission Board.
Matt’s greatest love is his wife, Diane. For over four decades, they have enjoyed every part of their journey together. Diane loves teaching God’s Word to women and has enjoyed speaking opportunities across the country and around the world. She has a master’s degree in theology and loves making disciples. Matt and Diane enjoy Colorado, the outdoors, spending time together, and dreaming about the future. Matt and Diane have three children that are scattered all over the world, making an impact for the kingdom; they always look forward to the quality times they get together as a family.
